Recreational Park Trips
With this new way of camping for our family, we wanted to “practice” and get all the jitters out before our first long road trip so we ended up at Prado for the weekend and we absolutely loved it.
Prado has 75 sites and site 75 is our favorite site (our cover photo shot) because you feel like you have the whole park to yourself. This place has hiking, biking, and equestrian trails right off these back sites in the distance. Prado also has a special place in our hearts because this is where we brought our very first home made trailer and we created our instructional videos and had our photo shoots for The Blueriginal– the trailer we converted as our covid family project.
Prado is a place where you and your family can fish, that’s not something we do but we see people out there with their poles or just go and see the ducks. They have soccer and baseball fields and a rare gym: a 18 hole disc golf course! Our family has a full on tournament when we come here and the winner earns an extra scoop of ice cream.
If these reasons listed above are not convincing enough, this place is 5 miles away from the Chino Airport where it is home to the Planes of Fame and Yanks Museum as well as several air shows throughout the year.
Last but not least, this place is special to our family because this is the place where we discover our name: City Lights Escape- you can actually see the city lights in the distance from our favorite site and that’s when our new name was born. You can book your next trip to Prado here.
