Over twenty years ago, our family of two were introduced to camping for the very first time and we immediately fell in love. Being in nature with the crisp air and lush trees gave us such a sense of peace that we couldn’t get enough of. We started with a borrowed tent, a blow up bed, a cooler, and that’s about it! Everything else we shared with the family we were with. Year after year we started gathering our own items for camping and creating our very own bin filled with goodies, tips, and tricks to make camping efficient and fun.
Our family tent camped for 8 years until we discovered we needed a home on wheels to attend our kids out of state sports competition. We found a great deal on our current rig and that when our adventures expanded beyond what we ever dreamed or hoped for.
As our kids grew older and longer (taller), so have our trips! our first road trip was 7 days long, five road trips later, we now plan thirty plus day long road trip.
Through the years we have shared our camping passion and experience with others, some currently absolutely love it as much as we do and some not so much; we begin to study and ask questions to find out why the ones that didn’t like camping very much, well, didn’t! and we discovered a revolving trend: Not knowing what to bring and not having what you need. Realizing this pattern sparked something inside of us to “solve” this problem; we want EVERYONE to experience camping at least once in their lifetime and we want it to be a pleasant experience.
During covid, we fully converted a cargo trailer in to a camping trailer where we rented it out and was able to be a part of many families’ camping adventures. This trailer was fully stocked so all you needed to bring was food and clothes which was a hit. We ultimately sold it years later to our neighbor so we still get to look at it and remanence in all the fun and joy we experienced with the mini V as we called it. You can see our first trailer here. As we were building our trailer, we also started planning our business logo. Our daughter designed and as a family we voted on City Lights Escape while we could literally see the city lights in the distance from our favorite campsite at Prado Reginal Park.
Currently our now family of four are avid RV travelers and cannot wait until our next getaway; we look forward to checking out a new place, a new site, a new theme park, just to “Escape” for a few days or weeks. We have driven across our beautiful country 5 times thus far; we are 4 states away from traveling through all 48 inland states (excluding Alaska and Hawaii)
We are forever grateful to the Martin Family for inviting us along and for sharing their camping gadgets with us many, many years ago. Twenty years later and counting, we still go camping together yearly which is so dear to our hearts. Because they shared the camping experience with us, we can now share the camping Experience for you…. join us as we travel along the country and discover new places and faces. If you see what you like, let us help and be a part of your next road trip. Be sure to check out our TESTED & TRIED TRIPS page where we have each road trip mapped out for you as you head to your new favorite memory.
Thank you for reading, let the adventure begin!
Love,
Fabbro Family
