First Up on our Fave list is
Anaheim Harbor RV Park

When traveling to Los Angeles, even if it’s from other parts of California, people like to schedule a visit to  Disneyland too. Here we have a wonderful, very well run RV park that is literally walking distance away. This RV park is a decent size, has a nice pool, plenty of restaurants around, and the best part: less than 2 miles away. This is a great place to stay if you are rolling into town and you have a 2 or 3 day pass to Disney Parks.  Our family actually stayed here twice, once for a Disney trip and second stay was because our daughter had a two day volleyball tournament at the  Anaheim Convention Center so we picked this lovely place again; we walked and enjoyed a family bowling dinner in Downtown Disney afterwards.

If you don’t want to stay in Disneyland so late, you can head back to the RV park early because you can watch the firework show on site! Take out your camping chair and enjoy the show. Not the best view of course but at least you can be steps away from home when it’s over. You can book your next trip to this RV Park here

Up next is Orangeland RV Park
located in Orange, CA

If Disneyland is not your main attraction on your trip to Anaheim or if you are not able to book at the first place listed, here’s a second option that is less than 5 miles away instead. Orangeland is a great RV park with wonderful amenities and it is only minutes from the Honda Center and the Angel’s Stadium where you can catch a ball game or other events held there such as Monster Jam.

Our family has stayed here four times and every time has been a wonderful experience. Sites are a decent size, grounds are super clean, and the pool and amenities are great. They have a store on site and citrus trees all around and when in season, you can pick as many as you would like. They do have some long term folks there too but the management is on point so we have never had any issues with that. This was our go to spot while our daughter played club volleyball- she played in Garden Grove often so sometimes we just made it a weekend getaway and parked here.

Last but not least, parking here you get to be a part of Disney’s nightly firework show! not as close as your view from Harbor but hey, you can still see it from here.

So if you plan a trip inland to Orange, Anaheim, Garden Grove, or Santa Ana, we recommend giving this place a try. You can book your spot in Orangeland here.
